The 2nd HAMLET Public Outreach Activity Day will be organized by the Health Protection Agency (HPA) at St. Catherine´s College on the 21st January 2010. The event will illustrate the history and future development of human space exploration and address the following topics:

Human Space Exploration
Hazards from Space Radiation
How Do We Measure Space Radiation?
The Matroshka Project
From Apollo to the ISS
To Moon, Mars and Beyond …

The above mentioned topics will be discussed in detail during two half day sessions by members of the European HAMLET consortium. The event will be accompanied by a hands-on exhibition of space hardware.

Access to both the plenary talks and the public exhibition is granted free of charge.
